UX Case Study
The platform is designed to facilitate buy, sale, social sharing and marketing of comic book-related items, emphasizing user organization, social interaction, and user-friendly design. It aims to cater to casual readers, collectors, and sellers.
On the development of match box I highlight a collaborative research effort conducted with fellow students to explore matchbox design concepts, followed by the individual realization of unique design iterations, showcasing both teamwork and individual creativity.

The User
Meet Danny, a passionate collector and enthusiast of Comics. Danny has been collecting comic for years. However, their biggest challenge lies in the diverse nature of the market.
Searching various online platforms and local shops can be time-consuming and often leads to disappointment due to limited selection. Danny dreams of a centralized marketplace where he can easily explore a diverse range of comics and related collectibles as well as connect with fellow collectors to buy and sell items.
He envision a space where his passion for comics and collectibles is celebrated, and every interaction feels like a treasure hunt.

Fueling Match Box Marketplace's Buzz!
After some interviews and brainstorm session done via zoom, we found that users are more likely to share items they are interested in if they can easily add them to lists, collections, and boards. This sharing helps to improve the marketing efforts of the Match Box Marketplace, as users will be able to share items with their networks and increase visibility for the marketplace.

In order to discover problems and observe the behavior of the existing design through the user’s perspective, I invited several users and conducted a remote testing session using Maze online usability testing platform.
